Pastor Aaron Steffen, Officiant

Aaron is a born and raised Hudsonite. He graduated from Hudson High School in 2000, and really, never left. He attended a “few” area colleges before graduating from University of Northwestern St. Paul (fancy title we know) with degrees in Biblical Studies and Theology. He and his wife Emily (also a local girl) deeply love and are sold out to the Hudson community and founded HILLCITY in 2013 with a group of 10 others. Aaron might not be your typical pastor. Sure, he has a beard and tattoos (basically requirements now), but he also believes strongly in things like laughing in church, sharing his faults, and even a hint of sarcasm now and then. He believes that asking questions and struggling through doubts is what having faith and following Jesus is all about. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his kids, coaching, riding his bikes, mowing his lawn, and watching and playing sports (although often not well). Amanda Lathrop, Lead Sheep Productions

At Lead Sheep Productions, LLC, we offer a unique and personal way for you to share your story, in your own words, with a Celebration of Life video. This is your opportunity to record a heartfelt message for your loved ones, sharing your thoughts, memories, wisdom, and love. Through a personal interview, we’ll capture your voice and reflections, ensuring that your story is told the way you want it to be remembered. Together with your favorite photos and music, we’ll create a meaningful video that celebrates your life, offering comfort and connection to those you hold dear.

Meet Amanda! After nearly a decade of working as a production coordinator for Minnesota local production companies and producing shows for television networks like History Channel, Food Network and Travel Channel, Amanda was driven to start her own production company. Lead Sheep Productions, LLC was established in 2014.

Amanda received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from UW-River Falls in 2003. Film Studies had been her choice for a “fun minor”, but after an internship with the MN Film and Television Board she decided to pursue a production career.

After producing a family history video for her own family, she combined her genealogy hobby with her professional video business. Giving her the opportunity to use her skills to help people capture, share, and preserve their own stories.
